Callidus Engineering provided quality plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems designs; as well as efficient construction administration throughout the building process. The plumbing design featured a complete below slab drainage system as well as full storm water collection and routing through the parking garage to a site storm water retention tank. The mechanical design featured compact, through-the-wall HVAC units that minimized the amount of floor space the eventual tenants would lose to equipment. Each unit was also fitted with an efficient, tankless, gas fired water heater that is able to provide instantaneous hot water to both domestic hot water and space heating. The electrical design included electrical distribution, fire alarm system, and featured LED lighting in the parking garage with built-in occupancy sensors in each light fixture that dim when the garage is unoccupied to maximize energy efficiency and keep operating costs low.
