The design for this project consisted of a new 26,000 sq ft two-storey police station to serve the residents in Trenton and Quinte West. The facility was designed under a design-build contract which allowed the construction to fast track with steel erected prior to final drawings being issued for tender. The facility included a community offices wing with separate entrance from the detachment. The OPP facility included a detention area, offices, locker rooms, sally port and fitness center. The facility was a replacement for a smaller out-of-date detachment on the same site.
