    Armed with blenders, bananas, and a few mystery ingredients from home, our team squared off in the Great Smoothie Blend-Off at the Kingston office last month 🍌🍓🥬The rules were simple: blind judging based on taste, texture, consistency, and appearance. No signage. No campaigning. Just blend it and hope for the best.Sofia Lancheros took top honours with a smoothie that hit all the right notes and earned her a Callidus Yeti Tumbler 🏆But the most memorable entry? Luke Reist's Meat Smoothie Extravaganza. A cold mix of ham, smoked turkey, chicken broth, spinach, garlic Boursin, and a dash of Montreal steak spice. Garnished and green, it looked like a refreshing smoothie... right up until the first sip.Reactions were mixed, but surprisingly no one hated it.     “Being a part of these modular building projects — working with SDI Canada and their production partner PDC Facilities to bring MRI or CT scanning capabilities to hospitals in Canada — is a great and rewarding experience. This solution can be particularly significant for hospitals in less urban areas helping them install their first MRI or CT scan machines. Seeing a whole building come to life in a facility in Wisconsin and then shipped and installed at a hospital in Canada is fascinating.” That’s how Luke Reist, one of our Mechanical EITs, described his recent visit to the production facility in Milwaukee. He was there to review a modular MRI suite being prepared for Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. The suite itself? Fully prefabricated with scan and control rooms, equipment and supply rooms, even patient and waiting spaces — all built off-site. Modular healthcare construction brings big benefits to Canadian communities: ✅ Faster timelines✅ Minimal disruption at the hospital✅ Consistent quality control✅ Quicker access to diagnostic care Once delivered, the fully constructed suite is tied into the hospital’s existing infrastructure for items like medical gas, plumbing, fire alarm, power, controls and communication systems .
