We were on site last week at the Kingsley Square condos in Newmarket, checking in on a project our team has been involved with from early design through construction.
This two-tower condominium development brings together a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems that all need to work in concert, from central plant and in-suite HVAC to building power, lighting, life safety, and EV-ready infrastructure. The challenge has always been less about any single system and more about how everything fits together at scale across both towers.
Kingsley Square is targeting LEED Silver, with sustainability considerations carried through the design of its systems and supporting infrastructure from the outset.

Earlier last month, our team was back on site at the Argo Developments headquarters as the building continues to come together.![]()
For this purpose-built office in Burlington, our team provided full mechanical and electrical engineering. That included energy modeling to support early design decisions, along with coordinated HVAC, power, lighting, and life safety systems designed to work together and support day-to-day operations.![]()
Those systems sit behind a bright, welcoming interior with natural wood finishes, expansive glazing, and planted spaces that bring daylight and greenery into the building. The engineering does its job quietly, supporting comfort and performance while letting the architecture and interior design take the lead.![]()
It’s been rewarding to see how the project is shaping up. We’re happy with how it’s coming together and looking forward to seeing it completed and in use as a new workplace and a positive addition to the surrounding community.![]()

Our Kitchener-Waterloo office finally got its holiday party in, just a little later than planned! Originally scheduled for before the end of last year, the event was pushed into late January after winter weather made travel less than cooperative. In true Canadian fashion, a snow delay just meant a longer wait to get together.![]()
Once rescheduled, our Kitchener-Waterloo team had a great evening reconnecting outside the usual day-to-day work, sharing a meal, and taking a moment to unwind after a busy year. Gatherings like this are a simple but important way to maintain strong connections across teams, especially during a season that tends to move quickly and leave little room to pause.![]()
A big thank you to everyone who made the time to attend and help kick off the new(ish) year on a positive note!![]()

When the weather outside is doing its absolute worst, you lean into it.
With our part of the world in the grip of a serious cold snap, our Kingston team set up a hot chocolate bar in the lunchroom yesterday. Warm drinks, plenty of toppings, and a good excuse to step away from desks for a few minutes and thaw out together.![]()
Simple idea, but the timing could not have been better. Judging by the empty mugs and smiles, it was a hit. What better fuel could there be to get work done when everything is covered in 40cm of snow?![]()
