    Walk into our London office on Tuesday this week and you would have found balloons, photos plastered everywhere, and even a life-size cut-out guarding one door. All of it for one reason: celebrating Callidus Engineering's founding principal, Grant Hall’s 40th anniversary as a professional engineer. Grant’s story is inseparable from ours. From starting J.E.D. Engineering at his own kitchen table to helping build Callidus Engineering into a team that now stretches across three Ontario cities, his fingerprints are on every chapter of our history. And as Callidus Engineering marks its 20th anniversary this year, the timing of Grant’s 40th makes the celebration all the more special, with both milestones arriving together in the same year. The messages from our staff paint a clear picture: a mentor who never hesitates to share knowledge, a leader who makes time for everyone, and a colleague who somehow blends technical precision with genuine kindness. The jokes and stories say a lot too, because you don’t end up with four decades of engineering memories without a few legendary moments along the way. Forty years is a milestone worth more than balloons and laughter, though we’ve had plenty of those this week. It is about recognizing the dedication, leadership, and generosity that brought Callidus Engineering to where it is today, and that continue to guide the next generation forward.
