This project consists of renovations to an existing cafeteria at St. Lawrence College’s Kingston campus. This is the second phase of the renovation and is focused on millwork upgrades, new exhaust hoods in the kitchen area, new plumbing equipment and improving workspace lighting.

CONSULTING SERVICES
Callidus Engineering provided the mechanical and electrical engineering services for this project. The Mechanical services included design of two new kitchen exhaust hoods and associated exhaust ductwork and make-up air systems. Hood systems were designed to meet NFPA-96 standards. Existing HVAC ductwork was modified as necessary to suit new layouts. The plumbing services included modifications to existing sanitary, grease and domestic piping to suit new kitchen equipment. The electrical services included modifications to existing life safety systems to suit new layout including fire alarm, exit signage and emergency lighting. New LED lighting fixtures were provided to suit new kitchen layouts, and power modifications were included for new layout and kitchen equipment.
