Callidus Engineering provided quality plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection design. The mechanical design featured high efficiency in-suite gas fired instantaneous water heaters providing both domestic hot water and space heating, a central high efficiency gas fired make-up air unit to provide ventilation to the building, and gas detection system with automatic ventilation in the parking garage. The electrical design included the electrical distribution, an emergency generator, fire alarm system, electric vehicle charging stations, high efficiency LED lighting, and occupancy lighting control for common areas and parking garage. The fire protection system included a fire pump, wet sprinkler/standpipe system throughout the above ground floors, and dry sprinkler/standpipe system in parking garage.
