The daycare addition added some much-needed space for the local YMCA daycare program at the existing arena facility. The 8,900 sq.ft. addition was completed as part of the first phase of facility upgrades. The arena addition adds over 22,000 sq.ft. of additional recreation spaces, changerooms, Multi-use gymnasium, exercise centre and circulation areas

DESCRIPTION
CONSULTING SERVICES
Callidus Engineering provided the mechanical and electrical engineering design for both additions. The mechanical designs included plumbing design for sanitary and domestic services, HVAC design for Heating and cooling of the multi-use spaces. The electrical design included new LED lighting and digital lighting controls for the additions, an upgraded Fire Alarm system and power and communication distribution design.
