The scope of this project was a 30,000 ft2 expansion to contain a new press for aluminum extrusions. The scope included a new 3000 KVA electrical service with provisions for expansion to four 3000 KVA high voltage transformers and relocating the main water service and natural gas service, all while achieving near zero downtime.

CONSULTING SERVICES
Callidus provided electrical and mechanical engineering services for the design and construction phases of the project. This included designing the new electrical high voltage substation and electrical distribution for the addition, upgrades to the compressed air system to increase capacity, process piping including oxygen, nitrogen, and process cooling piping, high pressure natural gas piping reconfiguration including separate metering of process and building loads, sprinkler system upgrades for extra hazard classification and ventilation for manufacturing areas.
