DESCRIPTION
CONSULTING SERVICES
Callidus Engineering provided the electrical, plumbing and mechanical designs for the station conversion. The electrical
design included a new electrical service, including UPS back-up, lighting including a prominent exterior LED colour "feature
wall" and recessed LED lighting throughout. Extreme detail was required due to client standards which included power, data,
CCTV, A/V, payment systems with dimensioned communications and electrical room elevations and complete riser diagrams
for each system. Coordination was required with client to provide services from our building to bus platforms and shelters. The
mechanical and plumbing design included infloor heating, air to air heat pumps, and heat recovery. The design also required a
redesign of the ticket booth area to meet the newly developed design requirements and GO branding. The redesign included
creation of a new design standard for use throughout GO ticket booths with special features such as lighting output colour
temperature change to optimize staff productivity, wire management systems for custom millwork and custom lighting fixtures
to suit new GO branding and directed forced air nozzles at desk level to maximize ticket booth operator comfort.
