Grant Hall, P.Eng., is the founding principal of Callidus Engineering and exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit that defines the company. From humble beginnings in the family room of his first home, Grant has worked tirelessly, alongside his growing team of talented employees, to build what is now Callidus Engineering. Grant has more than four decades of building services design and construction experience across all building types, provinces, and territories of Canada, the Caribbean Islands, and Michigan, USA. Through hard work and a dedication to continuous learning, the company has grown from a one-person operation to the sixty-plus staff in three offices that comprise Callidus today. Grant’s broad yet detailed knowledge of the design, permit, and construction process across all disciplines, along with his dedication to understanding and applying codes and regulations, provides Callidus clients with expertise that would often require multiple consultants.

When Grant is not at work, his wife and grandkids provide him with plenty of enjoyment and distraction. Grant is also a board member for a local children’s camp and an avid supporter of his church and local charities.
